Tiriel

I was inspired by a Brom painting "hair of auburn" to do an overall warm, orangeish model. The girl in the painting looks a lot like Tiriel, except she has wings. I decided not to add wings to the model, as its such a beautifully simple sculpt already. Just didnt feel I could improve it in any way :) so I just let the inspiration show in the paintwork. The orange isnt very clearly seen in the pictures, but its there in every colour, and gives an overall warm glow to the model, which is very nice :) My first attempt at NMM. Never thought I´d do that, but it seems very appropriate, especially since the painting is obviously done this way. I know NMM is supposed to be about sharp highlights, but I wanted the model to work in 3D, so I went for the soft blended version. Comments appreciated.

Fantastic NMM far nicer than if it'd been sharp. Beautiful.

I like the smooth blends on the armour, and the warm shadows really stand out. Your first try at NMM worked great, IMO.
