Witch Hunters Saint Celestine, Hieromartyr of the Palatine Crusade
Let me start off by saying that this fig took me about 10 times as long as I was expecting because of the amount of little teeny details all over it. God bless the sculptor because he's a better man than I. I knew I wanted to do something a little different with this fig (she still has gold armor, so I'm not going to claim a revolution here). After researching some Medievel French royal dress, I settled on blue for the cape and fleur des lys. The cherub wings presented a bit of a pickle. They were originally grey, but it was a big dark spot at the top of a model. I ended up doing them a more realistic bird brown/cream to match the bird in her hand. Ultimately, I am very pleased with the results. Comments are, as always, welcome.
