Thank you very much for the comments! Believe it or not, I was inspired by the new 40k 4th edition rulebook for the shields on the kneepad area. In retrospect, I think they should be smaller though.
There are many nice ideas, I will steal some. Funny thing is that I asked myself yesterday what to do with the sticks from the bretonnian drummer. The Shield is also a great idea, just like the mouth protection. But the chainbayonett (did this myself, but with shortened eldar chainswords) and the shields at the legs dont fit.
