Group of skeletons.

My first few Khemrian soldiers, would like some input on colourscheme and general painting tips and whatnot. Thanks in advance guys (and girls ofcourse).

You might want to thin your blue down a little. The skeleton (shield) on the left shows that the paint was a little to thick. You might need to apply a second coat, but it will be worth it. As for the gold, use a thinned down brown ink on it. Afterwards go back with your gold color and paint all the 'high' areas, followed by a lighter gold (add a little silver to your gold to lighten it). Finally add some sand to the bases, that would help to get your score up and dramtically helps improve the look and feel of your army. Otherwise it looks like your coming along nicely.

Heh thanks for the advice man, I have intentionally drybrushed a little white on top of the blue colour to make it look a bit more used. Maybe I should have used another colour? Anyway drybrushing is about the most advanced painting technique i know right now.
