Excellent try at NMM, I'm absolute balls at it. I think it's a great mini, but would score higher if you based it. I agree with Zany that you need to wet blend on the loincloth. It's a great mini, and I find it a shame that it is only a 6, it deserves higher.
Wow, dunno why this mini only got a 6. Probably the pic quality. The techniques used're great, detailed highlighting & layering, you may need to use wet-blending on the cloth though. Needs more effective shading on the armour too.
Nice work on the SENMM... I think thats what it is as you are reflecting the sky & earth! It looks real nice, though I think you need more definition on the rest of the mini, try some darklining where armour plates meet etc... Its just the rest of the mini isn't as hot as that weapon! As I prefer to use metallics, I can't really comment on your technique, looks great to me!
