From what I understand about this mini is that the face is part of the mask, so it would not be incorrect to paint it the same as the metal helmet. But it would be better if there was text or symbols on the banners.
I think this would benifit from some text on the banners and possibly a slight color change for the head gear or skin as they look to be the same color and blend.
