Witchhunter Inquisitor

I ordered this when the new Witchhunter Codex came out. I was intrigued by the look and feel of the new army and wanted to start up my own. Unfortunately of the several varieties of the female inquisitor I got the one I didn't so much care for. I decided to use her as a color test for my army. The great news is I think the colors work very well. Reds are washed out in the picture a bit and are actually much more vibrant - otherwise I really like the armor color which is vallejo brown-violet base highlighted up with ivory. The black corset has been given a coat of gloss varnish to help simulate a rubber look. The base was a new turn for me. I wanted to get the look of tumbled stone tiles and I think the effect works well. Hard to see in the pictures but each tile has a slight different shade. I mixed a variety of hues to the grey base and mottled it onto the stone. My biggest regret is that I wish I were a better photographer! HA! Though I think I am finally getting a hang of the lighting aspect. The last several pictures I have taken have not been so dark! I look forward to your comments and suggestions as always. Cheers, -Mike

I don't particularly care for the model either. I think the color scheme worked out great but for my personal army I would prefer the female inquisitor leaning on the cane with the flamer rifle pointed up. The hair doesn't bother me so much. I guess each to their own opinion right! :)
