Dark Angels Sergent Hymenaeus
comments are welcome.... Brother Hymenaeus was born on Siringar, a polluted planet that mainly consists of continent-spanning macropoles. It is quite hard for an orphan to survive on his own in the lower levels of a macropole and he started his criminal carreer very early. When the chapter visited Siringar, searching for recruits in the detention quarters, they spotted Hymenaeus who was captured on a raid along with half of his gang. The promise of glory and being a member of the legendary Astartes legions was much more attractive than years of force-labour and his decision was therefore easily made. In consequence of him being a hive-worlder he preferred close quarter combat and joined an assault squad after his service in an close combat oriented scout squad. In a battle against one of the traitor legions he earned himself the imperial laurels, when he destroyed a dreadnought armed only with wits and courage and killed a great deal of enemies in the process. It was his achievement that the distractement his squad should be to the enemy became a major breakthrough. He received a headwound from a bolter shell and lost one eye, he has an augmetic left eye since then. When his sergent died along with chaplain Daimos during the assault on the “temple of eternal pleasures” he became his sergent’s successor. After he recovered from the grave wounds he received in the “Kren”-valleys on Caiaphas secundus from the Iron Warriors he is now eager to return to the field of battle. His name is known inside the inner circle and it is only a matter of time he will be inducted into the Deathwing.
