Penitent Engine - My First Listing
As you might have guessed from the title this is my first posting on CMON. Im actually thinking of selling this on eBay in the next few days because im never going to use it now its painted (i dont collect SOB, i just really liked the model when it came out) HOW I PAINTED IT The main metalwork is dark green highlighted at the edges by scorpion green and given a shine by dark green ink. The armour trim is painted in shining gold and highlighted with a mix of shining gold and skull white. I have used colours such as blood red, blazing orange and skull white for some of the details, making them stand out from the rest of the body. Since Sisters of Battle is a religious type of army (they hunt witches which worship the devil so it’s pretty close) I have painted the driver and skulls to have bleeding eyes (it’s a religious thing but I cant quite remember where I got it from, all I know is that its true). I have based it on small pile of rocks to give the impression of it towering above all beings. Please leave comments good or bad, i like to receive all feedback and painting/modelling tips. Also can you tell me if its worth me posting it on eBay, as in will i get all my money back (it cost £20 originally)
