Chapter: Unsung Heroes
Hi! This is my chapter made for the Chapter Master competition held by GW in northern Europe. In the contest you create your own chapter, and I've decided to call mine "Unsung Heroes" (thanks DR for the idea :)). Considering I have never played 40k and know nothing about the world I had to create a pretty "loose" story behing the chapter. It's basically a very old chapter, thought to be wiped out in a fierce fight on a distant planet a long long time ago. A few members survived though and stayed loyal to the Emperor throughout the years, and they never gave up fighting for him. Left behind enemy lines there is no way to take proper care of the equipment, hence the rust and dirt on their armour. Recently they were discovered by some friendly forces and brought to the Emperor's knowledge. They got the new name "Unsung Heroes" and are considered one of the most loyal chapters. I had a lot of fun painting them, but had to rush it a bit at the end. I initially ment to convert them a bit and sculpt fire and plasma coming out of the guns, but there was unfortunately no time.
