Posted earlier as WIP. Thanks for the advice. Finished the base as well. Sculpted ribs and vertebrae to give skull more character. Overall I'm happy after I made the changes. C&C welcome and encouraged as I am a new painter. Shock

Really nice mini--but the wolf pelt lacks attention compared to the rest of the mini, and the highlighting is not coherent (such as the axe compared to the rest of the whole model). The stormbolter could use some highlight too, since the armour is lighted, but may that's just the picture. Other than that, cleaning up the gold colours and the star symbol on the shoulder pad would bump this to an 8. Maybe some more definition to his hair would help too. Great mini though! And still plenty of time to make it even better.

I was disappointed how the axe turned out. There was some more work done after I took this pic to improve how it looked but I agree with all the comments and was pretty underwhelmed with my NMM when I got done. I took a second, more intensive try on the other model I have posted and am slightly more pleased but certainly plan on continuing to work at my nmm. Thanks for all you comments, please keep em coming.
