Eowyn at Pellanor Fields GD Oz 04
This was my entry in the LOTR singles for the Australian Golden Demons 2004. She won the gold. The biggest work areas on her were the freehand on her armour and straps and the face of the shield which is also all freehand. Conversion on the mini was very light with the addition of the shield, the hilt of her sword in the scabbard and the built up base with lots of hoof prints done by pressing one of the horses feet into a layer of milliput. I followed reference pics from the 'Art of Return of the King' to get all the details and colours correct to the film version.
