Werewolf and Wererats

Finally got some very small brushes, but there is not much detail in rats and wolves. Somehow the fur looks better to the naked eye than it does to the digital camera.

Nice work on these. I can see that the new brushes helped alot I agree with tidoco the touch ups would greatly improve these mini's (still underrated 5.4-5.8 overall and 6 for the big guy) Keep up the good work :) -Torath-

Not bad looking these models, definately worth a better score than they are currently getting. The problem with highlights when photographing is that you need to over highlight to make them stand out more in a picture. A light drybrush over the fur done carefully with a lighter shade of the fur colour will greatly improve the look of these models. Also the eyes and teeth are letting these down a bit. Pure white for teeth does not often look realistic. Try using a base of darkish brown and then use a bone colour for the main part of the teeth and then use white for the edges and this will transform the look as well as make a definate space btween teeth to give them more definition. The eyes would look more realistic in a darker tone. pick out the eye in black and then a couple of coats of something like a red gore/blood red mix laeving a black outline would give them a more evil look. Still as I said nice models and well worht a 5.5 to 6 IMO. Keep it up.
