Joren - Half Dragon Monk

A Half Dragon monk built over the body of a Rackham Wolfen Predator with heavilly modified GW Belakor the Dark Master wings. The rest is sculpted green stuff. Painted with SNMM, works well with a blue sky in the background. This is my first mini I have sculpted to this sort of level so any comments are welcome!

Don't worry, when I tore Belakor's wings from his back in a rictus spray of blood and flesh he enjoyed it. He is a demon after all ;) I did actually get the entire Belakor model, but nothing has gone to waste. his sword is being turned into a flaming force weapon for my Salamander Librarian in terminator armor (once the new plastics are released) and the rest goes to 40k Demon prince a freind is making.

Your sculpting is very good, as well as your painting. Two things, however, I have trouble with. First, if those are Belakor's wings then this model must be the size of Belakor! That's a little large if you were playing an RPG (and your guy was three times the size of everyone else). It would make him closer to a real dragon in size! Second, if those are Belakor's wings..... WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO!? I bought the Belakor model 'cause he had the coolest wings I ever saw! If you wanted plain wings, you could of ripped them off any old stupid model! Reaper's got at least a dozen Gargoyle/Succubus/Demon figures you coulda got cheaper and they would have been a more appropriate size! I just hope you bought the wings seperate as bits and didn't ruin a $30 model. Sorry for my rant, but I just hate to see those wings filed into mediocrity. {I sit, lovingly holding my Belakor... "don't worry, Daddy's here...I won't let the bad man hurt you"} ;)
