Well for 4 months you're doing ok. You've got the basics of Highlighting and Shadows off, it's just a case of expanding on what you are already doing. Try increasing the number of graduations of the highlights and see how you feel about the result. The basing of the figure is OK but you might want to consider being a bit more careful on how close to the robes you allow the sand to get. It looks as if it's risen up over the hem at the front.
