Golden Wizard

This model was painted as a non gaming piece and is fixed to the ornamental base. Many details are not easily seen such as the 60 or so gems on the wizard and the freehand design on his cloak. The hardest detail to paint was black lining the teeth on the dragons to get them to show up against the yellow.

Gorgeous freehand. Nice rich yellows - very difficult color to manipulate IMO. Base is nicely done. The wizard worries me - looks like he's about to topple over - darn static GW pose.;) Excellent work.

Thanks for positive comments. There are some aspects not easily visible on the photo which was taken to get a good view of thew dragons; the rider has over 60 gems and some freehand on his cloak. The dragons have over 1000 scales all highlighted. The base is made from tree bark milliput beach sand some static grass and a feww old paintbrush bristles. T he model is mounted on a polished wood display base. T he horse was converted from one walking.
