Xiao Starwars Conversion

I created this mini for a Star Wars campaign where I play a female Jedi called Su-Fang. This was my first converstion, with the addition of a lightsaber made from greenstuff with a wire core. I like the colors of this mini, but my paint got chaulky and made for a very powerdery finish. This was especially problematic for her face. Also, its is $%@#@ hard to paint a light-saber!

I think it looks pretty good. If you ever make another Jedi mini and don't want to paint the lightsaber, find one of those clear colored lego antennae pieces (the really long ones work best, and cut that down to the right size.

I like the hair, the lightsabre looks ok but I'd improve the base - it really lets it down.

Nice colors. You might not have that chalky finish if you thin out your paints more. It does take many coats for it to be solid but it's worth the wait. I'm still learning on how to do it and I'm seeing some good results.
