An Orge

This is my contribution to the Paint Aid project. The idea behind this is that a number of painters from all around the world paint a small part of an Orge army and then the army will be put up for auction and the proceeds will be given to charity. To get the figures looking similar we were given basic guidelines to follow, which included no NNM (non metallic metals) and some colour guidelines for some areas like the skin but still giving us the oppurtunity to paint in our own individual styles. I relly enjoyed painting this one and the metal areas and rust were a real pleasure, I must admit the skin became a bit tedious because the paint used was quite thin. The army has not been auctioned off yet so if you have any questions feel free to message me and i'll try and fill you in.

Very good peice of work, the skin and metallics are very convincing, I especailly like the fact that you used different 'colors' of metal; the bright glyphs on the belly plate look a bit out of place, but that´s a matter of taste.

The colorscheme is very nice if you look away from the green, blue and red stones hanging from the bellyplate. If you had given them a more subtle color I would have given you a 9. The metallics are pretty good. I like the color of the skin and the pants. Great job!

Love the skin and the sword. The bright mushroom is a neat touch.
