Lizardmen Skink

Here you see my first painted skink. The blue GW color scheme for these creatures seemed inappropriate to me, so I painted him green. After all, they hide in swamps and behind bushes. Let me tell you that this is by far the best mini I ever painted (I have badly painted an Ork army before). Since I started shading my minis just recently, there is certainly room for improvement. So don't hesitate to give your comments! Thank you!

This is a very nice mini, I like the color scheme you have chosen here. Shading and highlighting can be difficult to pick up, but you have a good start! My advice would probably be to get lighter highlighting on the top on the scaley parts, and take a good long look at your current 'light source' on this mini, its not very consistent. Also take a tiny drop of white to accent the glint in the eyes, this could look very dramatic. :) Thanks for sharing!!!
