Blood-Spattered Grimgore Ironhide

Since Grimgore is holding a decapitated head it kinda makes sense for him to be covered in at least a little blood. I tried to get thet by Flicking chestnut ink with a toothbrush over the guy, it really shows on his face and left arm. I also kinda went overboard coating chestnut ink over the axe blades, but hey he's called "GrimGORE"! Screw the Ogres, THIS is the original "Slaughtermaster". Anyways, back to the mini. He was primed black, then his skin was painted dark anglesgreen, then highlighted Goblin green, then washed with green ink and highlted again with scorpion green. the armour was painted first with get this, a mixture of blood red and skull white. Yes, for a while he was a Pink Orc Warboss, but I dont have any photos of that time. :D Anyways, after the pink coat dried I painted blood red over and that's how I got that really bright red you see. Maybe there's not much shading or hilighting on the armour, but at the time I just wanted a really bright red. And finally the teeth and claws, painting them yellow is just how I do all my orcs. I know it's not conventional, but I just dont see orcs practising good dental hygene or having manicures. So they get yellow teeth.
