Syd de Kaiber (full view)
My first Cynwall painted, Syd spawned the idea of darker Cynwall. I just don't believe that the Kaiber contigent are your regular merry elves, that's why I went for darker look. Syd is painted to represent the events from the story I wrote for the contest. Snake Tower tells a story of the Dark Echyrion's awakening and the price Syd pays for drawing upon its powers. I grieve that the story wasn't released all together with the miniature for they are very inseparable. The idea is to create the image of Syd waiting for his last rival atop of the Snake Tower, a lost and ruined sacred place of Ophidians. The Acheron forces are after him, you can see the Undead crawling up the tower.
