Chaos Limited Battle Standard Bearer

Yet another commission work I finally post. The bearer himself is Army-Book-Style, the banner a little experiment. Usually I just do simple symbols, but I wanted the freehand to be a bit more garish and impressive, being the Battle-Standard and all... Everthing done in Citadel Colours. Hope you like it! Comments are welcome, thx for looking!

sehr gutes banner. leider kann man die Mini nicht gut erkennen. Aber bei dem Banner stört das nicht weiter, da niemand auf die Figur achtet! Go on!

i agree 100% with naughel.. i have been looking at most of your minis now and i see you are a great 2d painter. i think you put a little too much effort in your banners and forgets your minis.. on this 1 i like the horns bones and the banner. have you ever tried NMM??? i think you would do great with this effect.. try reading through the NMM (non metal metallics) guides on this page and paint some.. i think youl get the hang of it (if the mini looked half as good as the banner you was halfways to a 9)

The banner succeeds in your effort. It's beautiful. The mini looks pretty darned good, but unfortunately, it's a bit small for trying to make out detail work on it, or else I'd probably have given you a 9. A shame you don't have the piece anymore to get another shot of him.
