Tau Stealthsuit Shas'vre

The leader of my Tau army's Stealth Team, this Shas'vre is one of my better pieces. Not fancy, not great, but okay, I think. Any suggestions as to how I could improve him would be most welcome.

Firstly, thank you for the helpful and in-depth comment. Second, I chose to do him in the everyday Tau colours for army coherency, but you point is taken. I have another Stealth team in the works, although one of them is alreadt done in he same scheme as above; the photo doesn't show it very well, but I did the opposite shoulder pad in black and Boltgun Metal to emphasize the stealth role. I've also learned to thin my paints since doing this guy :P Thanks again!

my biggest suggestion would be to paint him darker so that he has a more "stealth" feel. It looks like you have very good brush control, just not the time to really do all the highlights. Don't worry about time when you are painting, if there is a clock in the room, get rid of it. Just let the model tell you how to paint it.
