Wargods of Aegyptus Elephant Rider
If this seems familiar, I posted it only a few short weeks ago, on my husband's account, but now that I have my own... we've taken a bunch of my stuff off his site, and voila... The elephant was difficult for me, as the creases in his skin were hard to paint in without just doing a wash over him. Highlighting those areas of rough skin was hard without losing the subtle texture sculpted into it. I feel like the contrast of darks to lights on the elephant could have been done better, and as always for me, the NMM gold was aaaaaaaarrrgghh!!! :) :) The broken obelisk was a lot of fun to sculpt. Never mind that it took literally an entire day to sculpt it. Sculpy brand polymer clay as usual for the obelisk and base.
