Tau Ethereal with NMM Nunchucks
I don't collect Tau, but I decided to grab a this & painted as it looked ugly previously. It was coated in dark Angles green with boring shining gold plating. Ugh... This isn't even my mini, just my painting! A little kid borrowed this off some other guy & gave it to me to give back to him (as he couldn't be bothered to do so himself). I can't wait so see hos reaction! He probably won't like it as he didn't paint it (he's rubbish at painting anyways...). This is the 1st mini that features the Non-Metallic Metal technique, seen on the brassy neck plate, metallic blue hair "band," golden ends of nunchucks, lead-like bracelets & various brassy Tau symbols. I prefer this technique as it can look mere effective than painting with the metallic paints. Please leave comments, & hope you like it!
