Ben the sci-fi pirate dwarf

This is another miniature I sculpted for my own line (so if all goes well this one will be available eventually). The theme came from the VIP9 (visions in putty) where the theme was sci-fi (something I rarely do something with, be it collecting, painting, drawing or sculpting but which was fun to do for once). The subtheme somehow along the way became sci-fi space pirates.. which I liked a lot... so here he is the end result... Ben the sci-fi space pirate. The pictures don't show it well but the bird on his shoulder is actually a constructed bird (clockwork/robot), not a flesh and blood one. He's as big as some of the bigger Reaper dwarves (darn scale creep).. so he could work as a short stocky human as wel as a somewhat larger scale dwarf. I hope you like him.

Great concept. Makes me think about the french film "The city of the lost children" since IMHO looks more steampunk - clockwork than scy-fi. I like the foot, hand and face most (usually hard parts to sculpt propperly)

Cindy, your work just gets more and more amazing. Great use of the theme, and a great multi-use mini. Sci-fi, pulp, even steampunk fantasy. I love him. Is he going to be released?
