Remember how in The Two Towers JRR Tolkein said Shelob was the last of her kind? He lied. Okay I'm kidding ! :) But when I was basing the model I remembered these spare GW spiders And I thought Hey maybe it'd be neat to have a bunch of these little guys running around the base. Stop me if you heard this before but the photo rerally doesn't do the mini justice. For one thing You can't see the eyes well. They along witht the fangs and stingers were layered with Dark angels Green, Snot Green and finally Scorpion Green to get a glowing effect. At least it shows with the stingers, who even leave pools of venom behind. :)

I think this paint job is WAY under-rated at 6.6. I know from experience, blacks don't photo well. I think you've come up with a nice concept, but are the babies removable? What if they are on their own or KIA? One minor point (and you never notice this stuff until after it's posted) but the super glue on the base probably cost you in some folks' eyes.
