Space Marine Command Squad
Wow, well i spent a loooong time on these guys, they're great models to paint, but maybe a little tedious after you get past the second one :). I'm particularly pleased with the standerd bearer of all of them (painted over about 6 hours at a games workshop veterans night), as the actuall marine is failry simple, allowing the focus to be put on the banner, the base is the result of many hours work all in one go, about 8 hours to be exact, i at first really couldn't get it to look right, after persistance and many many drybrushes and washes i got it to a stage i liked, but i dont think ill be doing any more display bases for a while ;), Closeup pics of the marines are in my gallery if you'd care to view and if possible vote, i'd be most grateful, As always comments and suggestions welcome.
