i agree, that it is overpowered, but i dont think the solution is removing them (it fits with the LM). i think it is overpowering because their colors are so vivid, while your greesns seem washed out. make your greens more vivid, and it will work perfectly.
I like this peice, though I think its overpowered by the plastic plants on the base. I think a good improvement would be to replace that with some lichen shrubery or straw grass.
