Nice colour scheme. To me, it seems that what you have given your mini is not much more than a basic base coat. You should really try to make the shading and highlighting stand out more on the model. And do the base as well! Preferably in in a scheme that is a contrast to the rest of the mini. Grey, for example. Nice mini for a starting painter, though :-)
