Salamander Space Marine

This is a demo run for an Army of Salamanders I am painting for a client. He wanted something a bit more interesting than the GW paint scheme so I did this scheme, focusing on adding gold to break up but also accentuate the Green. I also tried out a little "heat" on the Melta Gun; don't know it it really works though.

I think this looks great. Not very "Salamander'ish" but the green and the golds look marvelous. I know it was a long time since you posted this, but is there any way you can remeber how you painted the green armor? I would love to know the recipe.

Nice!The gold fit very good with the green of the salamander's armour.You've done a great work on the eyes and I really like the base.The Highlights on the armour looks a bit rough,but for an entire army this paintstyle is just wonderful.
