Entered this into a painting competition at my LGS. Pleasure to paint, and getting a lot of attention at the shop! The flowers on the base are made from brush bristles, having a small amount of heat applied to the tips to make them curl slightly and the very ends melting together forming a larger piece which was then painted to represent the flower itself.
