Ogre Butcher by MSB Toys

I wanted to make this guy look as gruesome as possible, obviously. As I started painting the face, he reminded me of the actor Geoffrey Palmer, which made it even more fun to paint. It was my first stab at a five o'clock shadow in his face.

That falls into the Oh-So-Cool category. You achieved your "gruesome" goal admirably. VERY WELL DONE!

"If he'd be categorized as a half-giant peasant butcher, i'd give him a 9 or 8, but still, in my opinion, not an Ogre." Really?? You're rating me at a 5 not because my painting sucks but because a company named its model an Ogre Butcher and the sculpt doesn't fit your definition. Thanks. Thank you very much.

I like the sculptwork, and the expression, but i'm missing the "ogre" part of this model. If this is trying to be a Warhammer ogre, then he should be casting "gut magic". And since he has no exceptionally large belly, i really wouldn't categorize this one as an Ogre. If he'd be categorized as a half-giant peasant butcher, i'd give him a 9 or 8, but still, in my opinion, not an Ogre.
