For some strange reason Historical miniatures never seem to score as well as the Fantasy ranges. However this is a fine miniature and well painted. From past experience I know how difficult it is to get a good definition and paintwork on the frogging of both Pelisse and Dolman. You've done what looks to be a stirling job. My only observation is that the Photograph isn't really doing the figure justice as the white on both the gloves and dolman seem to lack a little in the shade tones. However the face has a nice smooth tonality. A pleasure to see a Verlinden figure on here.
