Citadel — FF21 Goblin Swordman. Miniature from the early 80's. Conversion, his sword broke some time ago, so I fited him with a torch made from a Q-top, painted it and tried to ad some lighting effects to the mini. Comments always welcome.

People often mark low on the older sculpts. Also, I think it would be better received if the rim of the base was painted a dark brown or black - it'd fit in with the mood of the mini more. I'll have to remember that Q-tip torch idea, that's very creative! I think if you brightened the parts hit by the light (make them noticeably lighter colours than the other parts), that would give more punch to that effect.
