Commander X / Cowgirl / CCV entry
This is a companion piece for my Dallas Cowboy Space Marine. I did her for the Chick Challenge V. The pose was so natural for a cheerleader, and she suited the marines well. The uniform is actually very close to that of the actual cheer leaders, though of course they show more skin. White is a hard color, but I think I did well with her. For the Pom-Pons, I cut off her guns, and rolled a ball of miliput that I wrapped around her fist. Then I took an x-acto blade and made long slashing cuts. I discovered if I pulled the blade up and away, it dragged bits of the miliput behind it so I did that all around to make the Pom-pon more fluffy. I think it worked well for a first attempt. I then painted it with lines of white ink and blue ink because the actual pom-pons are alternating blue and white streamers, but shaken up they get all intermixed. I'm pretty proud of the stars, as they are tiny and were very hard to get clean. Comments are always welcome, and you can check my gallery for
