Maybe it's the colors you're using, but I can't really see any highlights. The smaller you go the more dramatic your shading needs to be.
Also, if possible, lift the mini or lower the camera so you get a front shot rather than overhead.
The basing looks good and would push the score higher, but it looks like you got boot paint on the rock the middle guy is standing on.
