So this is the first Reaper figure I've painted in years. ALthough I've always recognized their quality in production, there have been very few of their line that ever excited me, as such I sort of stopped paying attention to them. My girlfriend actually gave me this one as a present, which was not only the first time a S.O. has ever really acknowledged my gaming as something cool (awwwwww ;)) but she also managed to find a really neat figure I never noticed before. There are a few things I find odd about the design, and only one minor problem wiht the sculpt (the scabbard), but otherwise it quite like it. Very tight detail, and its a rare thing to have a katana sculpted in a way that begins to do it justice. Anyway, I had a great time with this, taking my time and making it perty since it was a gift from the girl. :) This is also the first time I've done an NMM blade with out any blue tones in it. . .I think I like it! comments always appreciated.
