The camo netting is indeed PVA soaked bandages To paint it, I primed it black, dry brushed with grey, painted all the metal parts silver, added a wash of equal parts black and brown paint, lightly dry brushed it with grey again, and then dusted it with brown, black, and grey chalk dust to simulate rust and grime. The mud on the tracks and lower hull is a mix of plaster, PVA and sand. The bags and such (only one of which is visible in this shot, see items 8964 and 8958) are from a 1/35 scale Tamiya kit. I don’t remember which on exactly, except it was a WW2 accessory kit of some sort.

Nice job mate, the tracks as extra armour are fine IMO. Make it look kinda like they added them in the middle of battle. ;) What did you use for the netting? I'm thinking MAYBE bandages soaked in PVA glue? Also how did you paint it...it looks so real!

Tracks as extra armor is standard! As Mick said ANYTHING to stop or deflect a shot was used
