replace the flying stand with a piece of wire, it will look much better and should be possible without too much work.
22gauge florist's wire would work.
Its a great idea and nicely done except for the clear peg holding up the wounded fore-arm. I find it quite distracting. Great floating orb, and nice paintwork on the war scythe. A bigger pic would be nice too so we can see the detail around the "healing".
