Give the gold a wsh of brown or chestnut ink, it will brink a bit of depth to the model, I would suggest to water down your paints, ive bin painting 4 years and only just realised that watering them down does work, it takes time but adds loads to the models!
i think the paint layers are too thick... try tu add some water to your paint.. first of all it will be easier to correct in case of missing and it will be esier to shade..
