Commander Gunthar

My first attempt at an Ilyad Games miniatures. The size is slightly larger that 28 mm and the details are superbly sculpted. I used a muted steel/bone color scheme to try to give him a very austere (almost sinister) look. For this reson I did not made any freehand drawing on the cloak, although its big, flat surface would have been perfect. Hmm, maybe I should get another one Commander Gunthar and paint it ina different scheme with a big coloured freehand on the cloak... As always any tips and comments are welcome. Best Regards.

Very nice piece! I really like the base, and the colour scheme too, great work.

I think the gold could have a little more depth and a bit of variation in the grass would look better. The rest is excellent though. The overall look is very good, the steel is great and the cloak blending is very good too.I agree with the reason for no freehand.
