Wizard w/ crystal ball

This miniature was used for the best sportsmanship trophy in a local club tournament. The lettering on the gem is "OFCC" which stands for the name of the event. He is painted entirely with reaper master series paints. The base was constructed out of cork board and I used vallejo pumice putty to simulate the gravel/debris. I'm most proud of the face; there were practically no eyes sculpted in, so I had to entirely freehand that, and it turned out surprisingly nice. ;) There are more angles and bigger pics at my website.

A really nice piece!! I love the bright, crisp, vibrant colors of the wizard in contrast to the drabness of the base. I also like the addition of mossy growth to the base instead of just barren rock. The crystal ball effect is interesting, too. All in all, a very, very nice piece. Great style! :-)
