Boromir
This Boromir took around 7 hours to paint, but most of that was coming up with designs for the shield. After many designs I made the sheild reddish, getting more red to the center and painting on the most accurate inscription of the One Ring I could manage. The story behind why he has the inscription on his sheild is that the ring is tempting him, and it is shown tempting him through his best defence..... OK thats a load of rubbish I made up while painting the inscription on... but it sort of works ;).
