perhaps the inking really is not perfect, but the rest is great. the base could use some more highlichts, but this is a wonderfully characterful model and the "hero's" face is suberbly painted! a lot of character and emotion in it!! he seems to say: "yeah, it's ok, i know, honey, but there's still a dragon to be chopped up into bits..."
Bad use of inks gives the impression of sloppy painting ... his hand on her backside, her belt are the two most obvious examples, but you also see it on the armband. Also I think her hand should be over his hair, and should not be black.
