My first mini on CMON (Yay!). I'm trying to learn how to do skin well and thought this would be a good practice piece. This is also my first attempt att NMM. Please leave me some comments so I can improve :)

Good work! I really like the face and the skin came out nice! IMO most parts could benefit from another layer of highlight and shading, the green flaps on the spear has good amount of contrast, so you can try to work from there. The hair could as Airhead mentioned use some bright spots. The NMM works nice, the key to it is contrast and you could go all the way to white, if that's possible. It feels a bit "old school GW" to paint the spear-shaft red.. and I like that! :) You definately have a talent to work with! Sven

If that white stripe up her right forearm is paint - great. If not, paint it on and cover her with another shot of dulcoat. The hair could stand a bit of hot spotting (very highlight where the light would catch it at the top of the curls. Hard to work with those brocholi bases, but a bit more grass or sand would help. The fleshtones on the legs looks pretty good and the face is spot on.
