check your messages, I sent a whole bunch of points and a refernce to an article that will help ... a good start, and you will find that if you read some of the forums it will come very quickly to you.
For a first try at taking a pic of a mini, this is pretty darned good. It's pretty clear, and lets the viewer see everything pretty well. You've got a fairly good grasp of where the shadows need to be on the horse, but I'd recommend softening them, some. Not such a jarring change from the white to the blue. Also, there's just... a lot of blue in general. On a pale blue background. A bit of colour variety might help you out, too. Great border on his tabbard, though. And the horse's tack & harness are quite nice.
