Converted Space Marine
1995 - This was the first major conversion I did properly (with pins and all!). I used parts from over 5 different minis. The main body was from the heresy MK5 mini, the head and legs from another 2 space marines, power fist from a terminator captain left arm, and a grey knight force sword. Having no clue how to sculpt, the chunky left shoulder pad insignia was part of a banner top, cut off and filed down to fit onto the pad, and then filled with putty. The side of the scull was my first attempt at sculpting. The yellows, are not meant to be NMM gold, although looking back perhaps that was what I was trying to achieve. But back then, I didn't know about NMM! Comments and feedback appreciated!
