I dont agree with that previous statement. Take the time to look at every figure on this site (as I am doing) and you can soon see the difference between this figure and one truly worthy of a 9 or 10. This figure does not leap out off this page and punch me between the eyes. If it doesn't do that then no way is it even a 8. You're far too generous. There doesn't appear to be alot of shading on it (this may just be teh angle of the figure and the lighting) , the hand painted symbols are certainly good and the gem in the helmet looks properly painted, the base is ok. It's just all round ok really. Nice photo of it by the way.
