Hello People. This is my first posting. I know I haven't finished the Shoulder pads and Base But I want to know how I've done so far. Please let me know of your opinion on the blending, the highlights, e.t.c. I used to paint when I was a teenager then I gave it up. After 5 years of inaction I started again. I've been back into painting for 3 months know. What is your opinion on my skill? I would appreciate any tips.

I didn't see anyone mention this but you forgot to remove the "flash" before you primed and painted. just in case you don't know what flash is, its the extra pewter or plastic that forms where the mold ends. you need to take a fine knife and just scrape that off so its nice and smooth. i see some on his arm and a bit around the edges. the painting is great though when compared to some of the people who have been painting for years on here. i think you deserve at least a 5.

I think your primer may be going on a little thick. Make sure that you are shaking the can at least two minutes (watch a clock). I agree with everything New_Cult_King has said as well.

Will someone at least tell me what I've done wrong? I see that you've all given it a low mark. Apart from it not being finished I'd appreciate if someone told me where the problem is.
